Reporting an error

This is the one we most want to hear about. Every figure here is computed from a published file, so if something looks wrong it is worth checking. Please include the page you were looking at and the forecourt or brand in question, and tell us what you believe the right figure is.

We will check it against the source data, correct it if the mistake is ours, and note the correction on the page where it matters. If the error is in what a retailer reported, we will say so rather than quietly remove the row. Our method explains what we already exclude and why.

If you run a forecourt

We publish what you reported under The Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025. We cannot change a price here, because it is not ours to change: it comes from the Fuel Finder scheme and the fix is to report the correct price, after which it will appear here on the next update.

If your forecourt is showing as not having reported for weeks, that is what the data says, and it is worth checking your own submissions. Write to us if you believe we have matched your site to the wrong record.

Journalists and researchers

You do not need permission and you do not need to ask. Every page offers its data as CSV, the method is published, and our analysis may be quoted with a link. Write to us if you want a cut of the data we have not published, or a figure checked before you print it. We would much rather do that than see a number misquoted.
